The Munich Sky

The days have taken on a new pattern in the past week. It’s very cloudy and gray in the mornings, and since the colors of the buildings are all fairly muted, there doesn’t seem to be any color anywhere. Then, around 11 or 12, the sky opens up and turns the brightest shade of blue, with big, billowy clouds.  This lasts for maybe three or four hours before the clouds return, bringing more snow in the evenings.

This is a definite improvement over January’s persistent clouds, when I saw the sun for a collective ten minutes during our first two weeks.
